whats goin on in the world today!?!?!?
Don't answer, it's really no use...
I was on my way home tonight after switching to my new (old) shift, traded one of my weekdays off for Saturday (to help with the business). Had several problematic customers which was like a continuous rollover from my day before (Friday) where I left work a little early to attend a local venue where one of my favs was performing ) "Atmosphere" , we had purchased tickets in advance and ended up selling them (at cost) , just before the show began , I wasn't too happy about that and I won't say why we sold them , mostly cause' I'm not sure...
Anyways, had dinner at my friends new restaurant "The Matchstick" and got into it with my girl on the way home as well as a few
BAD DRIVERS....which leads me to why I began to rant in the first place...
Anybody seen the movie Idiocracy?
I won't go out on a line and try to tell you that it's some kinda of good film , tho pretty funny at times.
In actuality , it's sad really. the things that I see people do where I work (I manage a laundromat in a lower income community) would leave any normal thinking human in disbelief, and leads me to see the sad truth of that film...
I've been at a loss lately people, that may have a little to do with my lack of blogging or blog surfing... the scams, the viruses, the haters, cats who ask and say dumb shit...THE MAN...
where do you start, where does it end???
They're adding more chemicals in the smokes...No time for my art , I haven't recorded in almost 5 years, living check to check slaving my ass off for someone else , just to give it all away before I see a dime.
You know what I consider shopping?, now is getting the gas just to get back and forth to work and deal with all the non-driving arseholes on the road who forgot why they even left the damn house to begin with , all out shopping and shit and getting in my way... A/C don't wanna act right so I'm sweating like a stuck pig, realizing all I've got left to do today is my own damn laundry, oh smack I done went gone off the deep end.... meanwhile everyone of my homies have been getting kicked out of their homes by their girlfriends , and these fools just worried bout "kickin it" WTF?
I think This "Red_Stripe" is working...yaknowimean?
sorry to carry on I just had to spew some B.S. out....
to those of you who have stayed true you know I know who u r!
thx for stickin by,,,,all the other blog bros keepin it real even through the tough times I got mad love and respect for...
I must admit I haven't touched any records 'cept for that R.P. jernt which y'all gota know isa classic , and I was kinda surprised to not have seen more comments on it (it was d/l'd almost 300 times by the second day it was up),but that ain't why I do this shit.
those of y'all who may know a lil bit about me already know that I do this cos I just love to share music and where I'm from folks just don't seem to have any appreciation for good stuff...
But I'll be honest I can't keep up with the other blogs out there, of course I could bomb thousands of albums on y'all on a regular basis tons that I've already shared and tons I've never even touched but I think it's time to retire.
I don't want y'all to keep checkin in, only to see I haven't done anything in weeks...
shits in chaos right now, and this is something that just has to be put on a far back-burner...
I hope that I haven't let anyone down in the time that I've been doin this and y'all continue to enjoy good music no matter where you are ....
Keep On Keepin On!
Sincerely ....
Doctor Okehdius Deft.
I'mma try n roll out with some grooves....

this has always been a fav of mine as well as those who I've shared it with in the past, if you didn't grab it before then here's your chance again, I did have to lower the bitrate to get it on MF but it still should sound just fine...no turntables were hurt during this experiment.

I'm baaaack!
well, we have finally moved , it's been one helluva journey, but I'm very eager to continue to help spread the great tunes.I have yet to break open the many crates of vinyl , the room in wich I'm setting up needs to be painted still before I do so, so throw out some re-up request at me and I can get started.
I know that several new readers have found their way here since Ive been out and have found dead links...just let me know what it is IN THIS COMMENT BOX, and I will get'em goin back up...
To all my continued fans/readers MANY THX for standing by and being patient!

this being my first new pick of the day , I could find myself being all alone on this one , but I'm willing to take that chance.by now I'm sure some of you should or may know this group if not, IMO it's a great place to start , this being my favorite track, see if you dig it too , very infectious...
Inside Out listen
and if that's not enuff
dig on the extended 12" version listen
no pw
(I do have several albums of theirs none of which have this song... they're most likely to be on the net already, but I'll look around and may post them later on...)
