100 d/ls should equal 100 comments this is awful y'all (to those who comment, it is greatly acknowledged and appreciated )
I've still got plenty of stuff to share , but the lack of comments compared to the d/l ratio just don't make sense to me... as in the past it has been the demise of a lot of good blogs if this is going to continue to be the case , this may just be the last of me for awhile... just gettin burnt out on it I guess...
none the less I continue to share rare vinyl rip (few pops and skips here but well worth the listen) and worth seeking your own copy ripped at 320 http://www.mediafire.com/?bomji5oxtbn ENJOY!!!
you're already here to grab the link ,,, take a second to drop a line...
I try to comment whenever I grab anything, but this is the nature of internet people, I guess. People are used to free stuff and they don't seem to be grateful for the good stuff people like you post. There is nothing you and I can do, anyway. Just try to remember that there are a lot of people that really appreciate what you do.
Hey Dr OK, great to see you're back out in the open! Ever since I discovered yer (now defunct) And It Don't Stop blog I've admired your taste and work. You keep educating me about music. Once again now, after the private intermezzo. That's fab.
Just a few thoughts:
Today, discovering your new place, I've grabbed six interesting records (thanks!), giving me a comment/download ratio of about 0.17. Do I have to feel bad? I don't think so, and you shouldn't feel bad either.
I like to leave comments and thank-yous a lot, but sometimes, as now, I think one per blog and day is OK, sometimes I got no time, sometimes I just can't be bothered.
Sometimes I do write half a dozen on different blogs coz you're making me happy. I guess my personal comment ratio is somewhere between 0.1 and 0.25, and I consider myself to be one of the good blokes.
Your work is very much appreciated, and you should know it. Expecting 100% comment coverage is not realistic. It would be nice to see you content with the great support you get. 171 snags and 17 comments is perfectly fine. Stop sulking already :].
When you went private with the old blog, it was announced, and I wrote an email because I wanted to remain a part of it (nowadays, I don't do this anymore; private music blogs suck kinda).
I didn't absolutely expect to be admitted to the illustrious circle of one hundred. Nevertheless, I took the half hour to write the email, pointing out some records I especially liked, and stuff.
I never got a reply, not even a "Sorry, we're full". Hmm.
That said, love yer blog, keep it up!, you're loved by many, and all the best from Berlin.
it is a sad thing Doc.....and now that i'm in the blog game i'm starting to see what and a few others mean....it's not that hard to simply say 'thanks' cause we only do this because we have a love for the music....well as always Doc thank you brother! Peace
oh DOC plz dont do it ima producer and ur blog is a producers best friend if dez lazy negroes cant comment then definently acknowledge the ones who do but ima check dis out ..... much love kid
Hey Doc I definitely appreciate the good music you rip & share. The downloading with out a comment will not stop. Some ppl are truly unappreciative and it shows. It will not stop them unless they are shut out. It is life ppl are thrown your way to challenge you & take you off course to see it you can handle it. It can be frustrating to stick with your program but we have to keep it moving and bypass them and if not they win. I mean for now take an extended break. You deserve it if anything or apply a password to the file and have ppl email you to get it. That will slow down the leaching. like I siad many thanks on sharing the tunes always!
Doc its upsettig to know that people are unable to show there gratitude to blogs such as yours seeing as all the hard work you put in and not to mention the genorosity that comes along with sharing. I hope you dont close Dco you have serieously brung some great msuci into my life. Once again Thanks.
Hey Doc,I understand how you feel, not only it takes time to rip vinyl, then upload it,you share records that a lot of peeps,I know wouldn't ever share.I wish that I could say more than thanks most of the time but I'm taking the opportunity to let you know that I appreciate discovering new music even though I might not like it,it's irrelevant. Thanks a lot Doctor!!
I don't comment much because I dl your stuff while at work, and just dump it all on my iPod as raw data. Maybe once a month I take it home, unzip it, and have a listening party and find out which records are good and which are not so good. But you're right, people should be thanking you for providing the LPs regardless. So, thanks!
I understand your point and appreciate what you're doing. However if it's for the love then the lack of comments shouldn't be an issue. In fairness I realize the time and effort one takes to provide such a service and agree that good work shouldn't go un-noticed. So heres to you for hooking us up on a consistent basis. btw The brother from Berlin makes a good point because that "members only" thing you had going with the previous site was a farce. Nevertheless we're here now and you got a good thing going. Do not be discouraged...

I downloaded this, not knowing what to expect, as there's no description. I listened to it, it was cheesy soul music. I didn't like it.
Normally I wouldn't leave a comment, unless I like the music, but since you insist...
