I love this album, it's still got that Hancockish feel with Patrice Rushen on the rhodes, and great arrangements from Onaje Allan Gumbs. At a time where the fusiony jazz was becoming - to me - a little tired and predicatable, this is killer stuff that still has some heart.
AND better quality than the rip I had, thanks Doc!

Back cover is new to me as well ... didn't realise that Pat Gleeson (synth player on early electric Herbie Hancock stuff) produced it, almost restrained for him then! great lineup ... blackbyrd McKnight on geetar, unmistakably Eddie Henderson on trumpet .
Sometimes our music collections get so big, it takes a prompt to make us dig something out and listen again :) Enjoying this a lot today.
